A minor update on Galaxo today :

– Restored min_freq to 120000
– New way to restore gapps

Ne voulant pas perdre toute ma configuration, applications … Je ne voulais pas wipé.
J’ai donc simplement remplacé mon framework-res.apk, libdvm.so et j’ai installé le Superuser.apk.

Great work. Works fine without wiping. 🙂
One small problem though: can’t set root password anymore… 🙁

If I want do *update* on existing 1.6.3.3, then do I need to use the new Recovery Drakaz had released? I just don’t want to loose contacts, SMS and phone data. some of you already did an update, so would like to hear from them.

Does galaxo have a plan to fix the mp3 id3tag bug? This bug bothers me a lot, since I use my galaxy as a mp3 player quite often.

no problem … flash the new recovery, update to galaxo 1.6.4.4. maybe install the gapps for 1.6.4.4 …. and don’t wipe!!! … works without any problems @ my side

hey thanks has been using 1.6.3.4 for some time and am loving it , also tried the 2.2 nightly the cam worked but vid is not working also the phone is hanging a lot so restored to 1.6.3.4 ………….

Hi,
I’m very much interested in updating to Galaxo 1.6.3.4. Below are my current phone specs:
Model/ Firmware: Galaxy 1.6
Baseband: I7500XXJB2
Kernel: 2.6.29 root@sep-53 #1
Anyone who can give me a tutorial on how I can do this? I’m not that kind of a techy person. Thank you for your utmost consideration and positive response.

Bilbo: Got the same issue here, in recovery, “Unmount SD(s) from PC” then unplugging the phone solved it.
