A great forward on GAOSP project today : porting hw3d driver on 2.6.29 kernel is done !
Non-stock live wallpaper, Gallery3D, Neocore…work perfectly. More to come, but to make you wait, two videos of GAOSP and 3D.

wow… you just blew my mind.
This project truly is the main reason that I still hope my Galaxy will have a decent lifespan instead of being ditched in less than a year.
By the way, you should set up a project donation before you reach a release candidate stage. For many of us you are adding a lot of value to our phones by extending their lifetime.

I just compiled the rom but no 3DGallery nor Hardware Acceleration .

Cant wait for 2.1! Galaxo is EXTREMELY fast and works awesome’r than the original frim, so cant wait for the new versions, because i know it will be fast 😛

Drakaz, Is it a good idea to release dot release for beta.. so that people can install and try each dot release? (not sure if its already in that way)
Can we expect the RC by this Jun 2010 end with atleast all the must-have features?

Long time I fought with myself should I buy Hero or Galaxy. I chose Galaxy and made mistake. But Drakaz showed me that Galaxy was good choice but Samsung isn’t.

Great Work. Otherwise maybe you don’t know that media buttons on a2dp headset doesn’t work. Sound works just fine. Is there any possibility to fix that issue ??
