Camera on GAOSP-FROYO : first step is done, preview and video are working now.
An interesting new for those who wait for camera on gaosp since a long time, nopy, who joined the gaosp team since a few time, is working on this feature, and the first step is done : we have the preview and video !
Preview work fine, video works too, the quality is not pretty good, there is some aterfact, and camera app crash when you stop the recording, but it’s work !
The next step for nopy is to have it make photo, and fix the camera. I’m sure it will be available on gaosp soon.

You guys rock!
I switched from Galaxo to Gaosp Nightly because apps kept crashing on Galaxo. But ever since I really missed the camera and it’s definitely nice to see the progress here. It has been said before, but it’s really a shame that a big corp like Samsung just pretends “It cannot be done” when in fact some guys just do it. In their spare time, mind you.
